Pinterest Inspired DIYs

Hey guys,
One of the most exciting things about DIYs is that you put your imagination to work. Creativity is all about experimenting. Pinterest has help me a lot in trying new things.
I love DIYs that are easy to implement.
Today, I’ll be sharing 3 Pinterest inspired DIYs. With just few things, you can make amazing artwork. So let’s begin.

  • Canvas Project: I wanted to create one for the longest time. I like things that are simple yet beautiful. This is very easy to create. Here’s what you’ll need:
    1. Canvas Board
    2. Paints
    3. A Circle
    4. Sketch Pens
Place the circle in the center. It is then easy to paint on the sides.
Take your favourite colours and start painting vertically. Once you have finished painting remove the circle and you get this:
Write your favourite quote or anything you like.

I love how the canvas art turned out. You can experiment with different designs, colours and add your favourite quote. It will instantly make your wall look good.
  • Mobile Stand: This is my favourite one. I always wanted a mobile stand and I came across this cute DIY bean bag chair.
    1. A Sock
    2. Hot Glue Gun
    3. Rice
Take a sock and fill it with rice. When it is full, fold the end of the sock and seal it with glue. Push the bottom of sock to form a bean chair like shape. It will look this.
Now you have your own mobile holder.
  • Bookmarks: You can make these bookmarks in literally less than 10 mins. These are called corner bookmarks. Easy to make and very useful.
    1. Coloured Papers or just plain
    2. Sketch Pens
    3. Glue
Take any coloured paper of your choice and mark the dimensions 7X7 like this:

Now erase the part that is marked with “X”:
Now, take a scissor and cut the shape. It should look like this:
Now carefully fold the sides like this:
Now glue the upper side to lower one.
And now decorate your bookmark. This is a basic one:
